Revlon Haul!

Hey guys! Today I have a haul of two items that I just picked up from Walgreens :-)
Here is the first thing I got :

This blush, Flushed, is from the new Revlon 2012 Summer Collection called Escapism. This collection contains nail polishes, lip glosses, an eyeshadow palette, 3 cream blushes, a bronzer, and a highlighting stick. I chose this blush out of the 3 because I really wanted a pink blush with no shimmer. The consistency of this is VERY creamy (well duh! haha). Don't let the intensity of the bright pink in the container scare you from purchasing this, because it goes on fairly light. The swatch above took 3 swipes, just so I could show you the actual color.
I definitely think you should go out and try one of these blushes! I took advantage of the BOGO 50% off sale at Walgreens, and also used a $2.00 off coupon that you can find on the Walgreens website, as well as on the CVS website. (note: this is a manufacturers coupon)

Here is the second item I picked up :

This is the Not Just Nudes Illuminance Creme Shadow quad. I picked this up because my friend absolutely LOVES this palette and uses this every single day for school. I think this is such a gorgeous neutral palette, and it contains 2 matte shades and 2 slightly shimmery shades.

I hope you enjoyed this drugstore haul! My next post will be a review on 5 of the Milani Baked Blushes so be on the lookout for that! Thanks for reading!

Blush and Bronzers!

Hey guys! So after writing the post below, I got into the blogging mood :-P
I wanted to show you some swatches on the Physicians Formula blush and bronzer that I picked up a few months ago, as well as the Estee Lauder bronzer that I received from my friend.

P.F. Blush in Soft Ginger/Bronzer in Light Bronzer :

Still getting the hang of swatching and all that (I'm a newbie ;-P)
I do think this is a fairly good blush, but I wouldn't repurchase because I'm sure there are many other blushes that are better quality (this is discontinued). However, for the price I payed, I am beyond impressed as I really disliked the first blush I ever purchased (Maybelline Fit Me blush in Light Pink).
The blush contains the slightest amount of shimmer while the bronzer is completely matte which I ABSOLUTELY love!

E.L. Soft Matte Bronzer in Bronze Goddess :

This bronzer would really give you a beautiful, sun kissed glow in the summer time. However, this color is too dark for me to wear as of now, since my face is still super pale from winter (thank goodness it's spring time now!). I think the pigmentation in this is very good, and it contains a lot of shimmer.
I hope this was a somewhat helpful post! I'm sure if you were interested in the P.F. blush and bronzer, you could find something relatively similar quite easily. I will try to post more consistently, like today! Have a wonderful day everyone! :-)

How I Store My Makeup Brushes!

Hey guys! Today, I wanted to show you all how I store my makeup brushes. I'm sure you have seen something similar, but this was my take on it :
I had a small amount of beads that I had purchased from Walmart a few years ago, and I decided to just put them all together into a glass cup that I had. I think this is so much more unique than the typical beads that people use, and it's also perfect for spring and summer! There are some really bright turquoise beads as well as pink, which are my two favorite colors. I hope you guys enjoyed this short little post! Have a lovely day! :-)
